MARACOF WHO WE ARE

During the 1990s, it expanded its activities, participating in building and urban development projects. Its staff and the quantity of its own resources grew, and the main facilities of the company were moved to Granada.

Since 2005, the company has specialised in the execution of thermosolar projects, participating in over 20 of these in Spain during the following decade. Thanks to its growth and the experience it gained, it became a leader in the sector at a national level. During this period, the different associated companies were created, in order to complement the main activity of the company. This is howMaracof Energía, dedicated to mechanical assembly, industrial insulation, and start-up of industrial facilities, and Sercot, a subsidiary that provides topographic services, began their operations.

In 2012 the company was internationalised, with one of the most demanding projects undertaken until then: the construction of the solar tower of the Khi Solar One project in South Africa.

Since then, the company has continued to grow and develop at an international level, and is currently established in different countries such as South Africa, Chile and Morocco. Its staff grows day by day and is the basis for the success and trust conveyed to clients in each project.

At present, Maracof executes projects as Main Contractor, highly specialized specific works, and BOS/EPC renewable energy projects
